The Artist

I was born in the Black Country but fled at the age of three and been drawing and painting ever since.

I am Cambridge educated, including Shirley Infants.

My career has taken an unorthodox path from watercolour to huge public murals to decorative paint effects and back to watercolour.

Through being adaptable, flexible, reliable and businesslike I built up a wide repeat client base, including Sunday Times Rich Listers, businesses and nice, ordinary people.

Some clients started with a house portrait and have gone on to commission favourite holiday haunts too.

Now spending more time at home I find myself in the unfamiliar position of having to sell my work.

I would find it easier to sell ice to Inuit than to sell myself.

I am not one for art-speak and do not bang on about my inspirations or the cosmos.
